Situation: Talon.One, a Saas loyalty and rewards platform, marketing creative team lacked leadership to complete a brand refresh to reflect their top position in the industry.

Task: Be embedded in the team as a fractional Creative Director to provide direction for the brand refresh and launch new direction at customer conference.

Action: First, assessed the team skills and made recommendations for additional copy and design resources. Second, we did a brand assessment to determine how much of the brand should be refreshed and discovered a lack of definition of the brand. Third, performed a series of workshops and exercises to define the brand. Fourth then actioned the team to develop updated visual style. Finally, directed the team to apply and launch the new style at their annual customer conference.  

Result: Successfully launch brand refresh with new style guide and brand kit assets. Enabled the company through an ‘all hands’ enablement session and internet page. Finally the new style was well received at the customer conference resulting in an increased attendance and pipeline generation year over year.
